Charles' received a master's degree from the University of Illinois School of Architecture and has studied extensively in Europe. His authentic interpretation of Traditional American, French and English Architecture is well known. Many of his clients have traveled around the world and have cultivated a taste for classical architecture. During Charles' forty+ year career, he has gained a prominent reputation for the creativity, originality and authenticity of his designs.

Charles enjoys working closely with his clients, listening to their needs, tastes and desires and loves the challenge of trying something new and different. He never attempts to impose his taste on clients, but only to give them the advantage of his knowledge, skill and experience.

The design-built construction company, Charles Page Builders, LLC, is run by his daughters, Catherine and Kristen. Charles states, "The business has grown significantly since Catherine joined me over 23 years ago. Most importantly, working with her and Kristen has motivated me to take a fresh, more aggressive approach to my own career".

CPA has enjoyed a large following of clients who wanted creative, yet authentic traditional designs, executed with the finest craftsmanship and materials. Charles has always been very aware that pricing and cost is extremely important, especially in this economy, but he will never sacrifice "Page" quality. This is why almost all of his hundreds of designs have been built or overseen by Catherine or Charles. Early in his career, he designed and constructed 100 homes in suburban Riverwoods. Building upon that success he then developed several old Lake Forest and Lake Bluff estates and built dozens of luxury homes there. Then on to Northfield, Winnetka, WiImette, Glencoe, Highland Park, Northbrook and Glenview – all in Illinois.

Chuck has served several years on the Northfield Architectural Commission, on the Winnetka Design Review Board and on the Winnetka Planning Commission. He has also been on the boards of the Winnetka Community House and Youth Services of Northbrook-Glenview. Charles also has a passion for watercolor painting and is extremely talented in this medium with his work being displayed often.
